BTW

Fireworks, Barbecues, And...

My Beautiful and Talented Wife (The BTW) pointed me to this story from Lisa de Moraes in this morning's Washington Post about what's available to watch on cable TV today.  The money quote:

And nothing says "founding fathers" like a 17-hour MSNBC "To Catch a Predator" marathon, including two blocks of extra-special "Predator Raw: The Unseen Tapes.

I'm heading to the movies, where Maxwell Smart and Indiana Jones await.

Spring Cleaning

My Beautiful and Talented Wife (The BTW) has declared that this is the weekend we will start to transition from winter to spring in our home. Cleaning is on the agenda starting Saturday morning, ao I thought I start with a few small items here.

I have only one thing to add to what Andrew and Pete, my two bloggers in crime here at Capital Gains and Games, have both posted on the Medicare trustees report: it was facinating to watch the Bush administration talk about the immediate need to deal with Medicare after having adamantly refused to deal with the problem since Inauguration Day 2001.

The BTW Made Me Do It

Starting tomorrow, that is, when the Bush budget is released, my work and professional life turn into a shambles for a month or so.  Because of that, I always try to spend a bit more time with my Beautiful and Talented Wife (The BTW) in the days leading up to the budget being sent to Congress.  As a result, my posts have been a bit "unscheduled" the past two weeks.

I could blame it on The BTW, but that wouldn't quite be right.  The truth is that, when it comes to The BTW or Capital Gains and Games, it's absolutely no contest.
