Andrew/Pete...Has This Been As Good A Week For Obama As It Seems?

Andrew/Pete...to follow up on Andrew's post below about Obama at the G-20, it seems to me Obama has had one of the best week's of his presidency.  Consider:

1.  The president exceeded expectations at his first effort representing the U.S. at a summit of world leaders.

2.  The Dow continues to rise (Note: I reserve the right to change this bullet after today's employment report is released).

3.  Other economic statistics are being reported as better than expected.

4.  Because of 2 and 3, more people seem to be sounding more optimistic about the economy than before.

5.  The House and Senate approve budget resolutions that essentially embody the president's proposals.

6.  The special election in New York, which until recently had been expected to go to the Republican candidate and some were saying would be a referendum on the president, ends up being too close to call.

What am I missing?
